This week started out great for us. Yesterday Monday 21st we spent the morning at Mbuyuni Primary School in Oysterbay with a team from Aggrey & Clifford.
Aggrey & Clifford donated TZs 10million at our Fundraising Gala last year.
From the donated we were able to produce desks, book shelves and donate books to a pre-classroom at the Mbuyuni Primary School. We were also able to refurbish the ‘Sensory Room’ for a section of the school that caters for children with Autism. We created a place were they can go a calm down.
Speaking at the event, Aggrey & Clifford Oliver Mutere said, ‘we as Aggrey & Clifford are very keen and dedicated to support initiatives that promote the improvement on learning and teaching environments in schools”. He continued to say “we commend Hassan Maajar Trust of the work they have done here at Mbuyuni and at other schools across the country”.
The event was attended by the presence of Eng. Mussa Natty, Managing Director of the Kinondoni Municipal as guest of honour.
Our team was led by our Executive Director, Zena Tenga, who thanked Aggrey & Clifford for their generous support.
